Located within the University of Michigan’s North Campus Research Complex, NCRC Café provides researchers, faculty, staff, guests, and visitors with a convenient and welcoming destination for fresh food, variety, and everyday dining. Picasso Restaurant Group joined the NCRC community in 2015, bringing our approach to workplace dining to one of the University’s major hubs for research, collaboration, and innovation. Inspired by that environment, NCRC Café was designed around Picasso’s micro-restaurant concept—bringing several distinctive food experiences together within one café. Guests can choose from multiple signature stations featuring a rotating variety of freshly prepared meals, made-to-order favorites, lighter selections, and daily specials. This restaurant-inspired approach provides greater variety while allowing guests to find something different throughout the week. With comfortable seating and an inviting atmosphere, NCRC Café is more than a convenient place to grab a meal. It serves as a gathering place where members of the NCRC community can meet, collaborate, recharge, and enjoy great food together. Through quality ingredients, diverse choices, cleanliness, and attentive service, NCRC Café brings the hospitality of Picasso Restaurant Group to one of the University of Michigan’s most innovative communities. NCRC Café provides comprehensive catering for meetings, conferences, research events, department gatherings, celebrations, and special events throughout the North Campus Research Complex. From convenient pickup platters and delivered lunches to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and large-scale events, our team offers flexible levels of food and service designed around the needs of each gathering. Whether serving a small meeting or an event with hundreds of guests, Picasso Restaurant Group can help create a menu and service plan tailored to the occasion. For larger events, our team can also assist with event planning details including food and beverage service, room setup, table arrangements, and rental coordination. With a variety of event spaces available throughout NCRC, we can help bring the pieces together for a seamless experience from planning through service.
